As I read the article “Reflection on Occupy:Everywhere: Social media, public space, and emerging logics of aggression by Jeffery S. This talks about how technology has changed so many things such as protest and how it has gain an impact. While back then, all you had to was grab a board put what you’re protesting about and try to find people to join you. Social media plays a huge role as just one post on the internet can get thousands of activist and making a website can just make you gain more supporters. It’s a great platform that can help you and many people in this case and just get those people’s voices heard. The start of the #Occupy movement was to get more people involved who were treated unjustly and facing economic equality. This movement was huge and had a great standoff. This movement went all over the world gaining the recognition it deserved. Therefore because of it, we live in a better world where people can voice their opinion through social media.
